The Daily Happy

Making Mental Health Accessible in a Competitive Market
The Happy Hour was founded to create a more approachable and less stigmatized path to mental health, offering therapy, coaching, sound healing, and community groups in Nashville. While the demand for services was growing, many people found the process of finding a therapist or support overwhelming. Founder Clara Belden saw an opportunity to simplify that journey, extend care beyond the studio, and give clients ongoing access to frameworks and tools they could use anytime.
Clara had dreamed of creating an app since launching The Happy Hour five years earlier, but the idea felt daunting without a clear roadmap. Competing with larger providers who already offered digital access, she knew the studio needed a modern solution to stay connected with clients and grow its impact. What she needed was a partner who could guide the process and help her focus on what mattered most: delivering support to the community.
What we built

A Custom Mobile App Driving Connection & Unlocking B2B Growth
With Vyten, The Happy Hour launched a custom mobile app that brought its brand and mission to life in clients’ hands. By starting with a minimum viable product, Clara and her team tested features, gathered feedback, and refined the app to meet client needs. Push notifications and easy access to original content helped clients feel more supported, with many sharing that they “felt the warmth of the team” every time they opened the app.
Beyond improving the client experience, the app opened the door to new business opportunities. Clara recognized the potential to license the platform to employers as part of a B2B wellness offering, creating a scalable revenue stream with massive ROI potential. Today, The Happy Hour app not only strengthens client loyalty but also positions the business for long-term growth and innovation.
